Kalamata
is wellknown for its famous olives. Mild climatic conditions around the messinian golf and long sunny days are symbiolic for this area. Here we have 200 trees in a little olivegarden of 12000sq. Meter. The oilmill from Jorgos Sarpalezos in Stavropigio, where our olives are turned into the famous " liquid gold" is more than a hundred years old.

Finally a few words about greek meals and drinks. Greek people like uncomplicated and natural meals consisting of rural components like vegetables, salads, cheese, fruits, bread and wine. They like their Oyzo and wine very much. Probably most well-known is the RETSINA.
