Let us start in Archontiko - Avia, south of Kalamata. Located only two km
underneath our house, direct at the beach is this suburb of Avia, a
beautiful place for swimming and relaxing.

Avia is a cozy place with several small suburbian villages spreading
alongside the sea, reaching up to the mountains Taygetos of which the
highest mountain, named Profitias Elias has up to nearly 2500 m.

From our house and terraces we can watch the Messinian Golf as well as
the mountains Taygetos.
